Who we are
Sterling and Turner met by chance in a wildlife area while both out duck hunting — a shared passion that sparked a lasting friendship and a shared mission. Since that day, they've each built careers in the conservation field, working hands-on with landowners, habitat restoration projects, and wildlife management. With over a decade of combined experience, they bring deep knowledge, hard-earned field skills, and a genuine respect for the land to every project. Together, they founded The Conservation Company to help others steward their land with purpose, precision, and care.
Sterling
I’m Sterling Brumfield, I hold a degree in Wildlife Management from Hocking College and bring over five years of hands-on experience in the conservation field. My work spans habitat restoration, land management, and wildlife enhancement projects across a variety of landscapes. As a lifelong outdoorsman, I spend my free time bird hunting with my Labrador retriever, Daisy, or chasing trout and steelhead in remote streams. My passion for the land runs deep, and I strive to reflect that in every project I take on.
Turner

These experiences continually deepen my respect for wildlife and conservation. Whether I’m outdoors, writing a management plan, or sharing stories and insights, my mission is to inspire a deeper connection to nature and promote thoughtful stewardship of our environment.
